It's been one year. One glorious year since I left home turf, and no words are enough to describe it. Maybe pictures are. And with this ends my first 52 week project. A bit ambitious, I thought, but I have succeeded. Will there be another? Perhaps. But in the meantime, as with my life right now, I'm going to take it slow and let inspiration drive me. It will be nice to post when I feel like, without the pressures of (sometimes necessary) routine. The end of the beginning has come.   It's time for new stories.

Whoa, only 4 weeks left! This has been one swift year. I've been stuck at home all week, pretty much; being good and working hard (sort of) after all the frolic of last month. So all I can offer are my photographic experiments: I've been trying out textures, from the wonderful Pareeerica's stock . Applause for the real star: this kid shall win medals yet. So adorable. Didn't sit still for a minute the hours before the ceremony started, waving and saying hi to everyone from the air and saying 'cheese' in front of the camera. In Vienna, I was a flâneuse with a map. I spent Sunday walking around trying to find as many of the memorable locations from Before Sunrise as possible, with each discovery making my heart beat faster. It was quite a feeling seeing them nearly 2 decades after the movie was shot. Jesse: Do you believe in reincarnation? Celine: Yeah. Yeah, it's interesting. Schottentor (tram) Jesse: Do you wanna go see if the listening booth still works? Alt & Neu. Still going strong, still famous, and CLOSED ON SUNDAYS. Boo. Celine: That's the Danube over there. Jesse: That's a river, right? Ferris wheel, Prater. Fortune teller: You are stardust! Kleines Cafe. The umbrellas are gone, but the rest looks the same. The church next to it is beautiful. Jesse: Well, I went to this Quaker wedding once, and it was fantastic. What they do is the couple comes in, and they kneel down in front of the whole congregation, and they just stare at each oth...
